What a Night of Darts! Telepost Summer League Finals Night Hits the Bullseye

Twelve weeks. Fourteen players. Hundreds of legs. More than a few nervous doubles—and probably enough cries of “How did that miss?” to fill the club twice over!
The Telepost Club Summer League has officially come to an end, and what a brilliant competition it has been. All 14 players are members of the Telepost Club darts team, but once they stepped up to the oche, friendship was briefly put to one side. There were league points to collect, playoff places to secure and, most importantly, four shiny trophies up for grabs! 🎯🏆
From the very first dart to the final winning double, the league delivered great darts, close contests, plenty of friendly rivalry and lots of laughs.
Twelve Weeks of Tops, Trebles and Tension
The format gave every player the chance to climb the table, with positions deciding who would compete in each playoff group on finals night.
Across the league campaign, an impressive 178 matches were played. That meant plenty of opportunities for big scores, dramatic comebacks and those wonderful moments when a player spends five minutes working out a finish—only to hit something completely different!
Every match mattered, and the league table produced some incredibly close battles.
Finals Night: Four Groups and Four Trophies
With the league stage complete, it was time for the playoffs.
The final table divided the players into their playoff groups, giving everyone one more opportunity to finish the summer with their hands on a trophy. The result was a fantastic evening filled with competitive darts, brilliant sportsmanship and plenty of support around the room.
The atmosphere was lively, the darts were flying and four players held their nerve when it mattered most.

The Summer League Trophy Winners
🏆 Glenn Hughes – Group 1 Winner
🏆 Glyn Roberts – Group 2 Winner
🏆 Miles Till – Group 3 Winner
🏆 Will Hughes – Consolation Winner
A huge congratulations to all four winners! Each group brought its own challenges, and every trophy had to be earned against determined opposition.
Very well done to all the winners and to everyone who stepped up to the oche on the night. Amazing darts were thrown across the groups, with every player helping to make the finals a fitting conclusion to a brilliant summer competition. 🙌🎯🔥
Every Player Played Their Part
While four players left finals night with trophies, all 14 competitors deserve plenty of credit.
Fletch, Rich, Glenn, Danni, Miles, Chris, Glyn, Sean, Snowy, Billy, Tom, Val, Will and Holly each contributed to the fun, friendly and competitive spirit of the Summer League.
Some players battled for the top positions, others fought to climb another place in the table, and everyone had those nights when the darts simply refused to cooperate. That is all part of the game—and there is always another match and another chance to put things right.
Whether it was a big checkout, a match-saving double or simply a well-timed joke after a wayward dart, every player added something to the competition.

Proud Sponsors of Telepost Club Darts
The Party Guys were honoured to sponsor the Telepost Club Summer League, supporting a competition filled with great darts, great mates and a fantastic community atmosphere.
We are also delighted to continue our sponsorship during the ongoing Telepost Club winter darts season. If the Summer League is anything to go by, there will be plenty more drama, brilliant performances and memorable nights ahead.
Supporting local teams and competitions means a great deal to us. These events bring people together, encourage friendly competition and prove that you do not need a huge arena to create an electric atmosphere—although a walk-on tune and a little dry ice probably would not hurt!
Bring on the Winter Season!
The Summer League may be over, but the darts action certainly is not.
Congratulations once again to all four playoff champions, to Fletch for finishing at the top of the league table and to every player who competed during the 12-week campaign.
Thank you as well to everyone who organised the league, supported the players and helped make finals night such a success.
Now it is time for the winter season. The boards are ready, the trebles are waiting and those doubles are not going to miss themselves!
Best of luck to the whole Telepost Club team for the season ahead. Keep smiling, keep enjoying the darts—and remember, it is only a bad score if somebody else saw it! 🎯🔥🏆
