We’ve got some amazing news to share… we’ve been nominated for Best Wedding DJ at the UK's most prestigious Wedding Awards Ceremony...

THE WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS 2027! 🤩🎶

For a business that is still very much in its early days, this kind of recognition genuinely means the world to us. When you start something new, you put everything into it, your time, your energy, your experience, without always knowing how it will be received. So to be recognised so quickly, and on a platform as respected as the TWIA’s, is an incredible honour and something we’re extremely proud of.

However, after a lot of careful thought, we’ve made the decision NOT to enter the awards this year.

That might seem like an unusual decision given how excited we are about the nomination, but for us it comes down to doing things the right way, at the right time.

The wedding industry is full of exceptionally talented Wedding DJs and wedding entertainment companies. Many of them have spent years building their brands, earning trust, and consistently delivering incredible experiences for couples. The TWIA’s celebrates that level of excellence, and we have a huge amount of respect for everyone involved.

While the business itself is new, there is, of course, a wealth of experience behind it.

Sean, the one behind The Party Guys, has over 24 years of experience in the industry and is no stranger to recognition. In a previous venture, he was a back-to-back Wedding DJ of the Year – West Midlands Regional Finalist at the TWIA’s. That journey, and those achievements, have played a huge role in shaping the high standards, professionalism, and passion that sit at the heart of what we do today.

But this is a new business, and that distinction is important to us.

We feel that entering something as prestigious as the TWIA’s without the context of this business’s own journey, reputation, and track record wouldn’t be the right thing to do. Awards like this should reflect not just experience, but the identity and consistency of the business itself and we want to make sure we’ve truly earned that place in our own right.

Don’t get us wrong, we’ve already got a whole host of weddings booked in this year and next, which we’re incredibly grateful for, and it’s a fantastic start. But for us, it’s not just about how busy we are; it’s about building a strong reputation, delivering consistently exceptional experiences, and establishing ourselves properly within the industry under this new name and exciting name.

In simple terms, we’d rather build something meaningful first… and then put it forward when the time is right.

There’s also a practical side to our decision. With an extremely busy season ahead, our priority is and always will be, our couples. Every wedding deserves our full attention, energy, and creativity, and we never want anything to take away from that focus.

That said, this nomination alone is a huge milestone for us.

It’s a sign that we’re heading in the right direction, and it gives us even more motivation to keep pushing forward, improving, and delivering the kind of weddings we’re proud to put our name to.

To everyone who has supported us so far, recommended us, or trusted us with their big day, thank you. Your support means everything, and this recognition is as much yours as it is ours ❤️

We’re incredibly excited for what the future holds, and we look forward to the day when we feel ready to enter, not just with experience behind us, but with a business reputation that truly reflects who we are.
